Thanks for the messages of support, it just hits hard right now as I am in finance and that's what has everything screwed at the moment.Might be the excuse i have needed to move to Brisbane for some winter sunshine though!

..... and I thought life at the first world is heaven....
So many of my countrymen would risk their lives just to go to the UK and find odd jobs there. I wonder what jobs are waiting for them in your place if your citizens are being fired because of redundant positions.
This recession is making me grateful that I didn't go abroad for work.

Some rough times going on all over the world, and I don't think it's going to get any better any time soon despite what the IMF is telling us all to think. We are apparently recovering but people are still losing jobs everywhere left, right and centre. What a mess.
