Anywhere from 140 to 147, it doesn't matter. They can both make any weight between there, definitely anything above 143 or so.

There is no reason to complain if this fights not at 147, its not a welterweight fight, its a super fight. I don't think there's a big problem with Cotto-Pac at 145 but at least there I can see the rationale behind complaining about it, but not in this case.

    147- floyds weight

if pac wants to be the best he has to beat the best at their own game - floyd will not fight him at any other weight

If it happens, I expect Roach to start the negotiations at around 138.75.

i think Roach will ask for 143 since the fight b/t Mayweather/Marquez is set at 143. Mayweather may push for 145 since Pac will fight Cotto at that weight or possibly even 147.

The weight really doesn't matter with PBF. He is a small welterweight anyways so the catchweight is not a draining tactic or an excuse. Roach already said PBF is the only welterweight he would fight at 147. So I don't think the weight is a factor for either side.

147 for Pacmans WBO title although Floyd has never won the legitimate 140lb title so that really would be interesting to see as well. I really hope this fight can be made because there are alot of different scenarios to sell this fight.

We heard PACMAN in an interview........He said he wont climb up in weight anymore in his next fights. He said this after his victory vs.Cotto.

Meanwhile let us allow PACQUIAO,to celebrate Christmas.

144 sounds fair to me, with a 1 million dollar per extra pound incensitive to make sure that Cocky Floyd won't use the same dirty rabbit as against Marquez.

I would love to say 140 or a catch weight to help Pac, but I gotta say it MUST be 147... And I know full well Pac's chances go down more and more with every pound over 140 pounds.. And I want Pac to win more than anything... And I give sooooooooooooooo slim of a chance of beating Floyd at any weight, and ESPECIALLY give him barely ANY chance at 147....

But with all that, this fight still has to happen at 147.....

Personally I think Mayweather should be fighting at 154 anyway.. He's got the skill to win even at 160 against 75% of the guys there,,, and that is the equivelant of Pac fighting at 147.... But whatever, Floyd has stayed at 147, and Pac needs to fight him there...

My heart will be beating out of it's f'n chest for 90% of that fight if it happens.. It was pumping for the first 3 rounds of Pac/Cotto... Just love the drama...

Anyway, my vote is for 147 even though for every reason I want Pac to win i'd like it to be at a lower weight..

Man I'm not even gonna discuss the stipulations contract and weight any more whats the point? bias clearly comes into it! I just want these two to fight. leave the negotiations to Golden boy and top rank the fans are not going to make a difference.

This is really a stupid question. All of these catchweights are just plain retarded. People are already using it as an excuse for cotto. Fans bitched about floyd fighting so called guys at 147 so make the fight there. Pac is welter champ so that's where it should be. That or 140. But the fight should be at one of the weight classes already established. Floyd aint gonna make nothing but welter anyway.
