Yeah saw this tonight. Although its sad news obviously I can't help but feel a little bit smug that I saw them live at V last Saturday on what could possibly be their last ever performance.

Hah Rhun my man you went too! It was a great weekend, no rain at all I was well happy.
Who else did you see? The Killers started slowly (cos I didn't know any of their first 5or 6 tracks) but when they got to their hits they were great.
I also thought Pendulum were brilliant.

Oasis are overrated as hell...FYI British bands of the future, do NOT compare yourselves to The Beatles or Rolling Stones.

Oasis have consistently been the huge selling equivalent in the main music market (UK) in the 90s and 00s that the Beatles were in the 60s and 70s. As for the rolling stones....it's better to burn out than fade away.
