    Sorry... poor word choice...
(calling out a retired fighter isn't the same as pushing to make a fight happen)

Did JMM management push for the fight and pull Floyd out of retirement or did Floyd's team decide that they want to make a come back and pick JMM out of a list of possible fights?

Unless JMM's team was primarily making this fight happen, I really can't see the similarity with Pac-Cotto.

Regardless, the facts still remain that Floyd will have no problems hitting the weight, nobody is trying to say that it should be for a Welterweight strap or recognised as anything other than a catchweight fight.

Pac-Cotto and PBF-JMM are both good fights, unfortunately mostly because of pac fanboys Pac-Cotto is surrounded by more bullshit.

Nobody is trying to make less of this fight... or Pac-Cotto. The only problem people have with Pac-Cotto is about stupid fan boys trying to make MORE (yeah... it goes both ways :0) of it than they should do... saying a catchweight fight should be for a title etc based on name value only.

Golden Boy did push for the Mayweather fight heavily off the back of the Diaz win. They chose to push him for the fight instead of Mosley because they were waiting on the Hatton-Pacquiao winner for Shane. Which kinda didn't work out
