That was because I'm not a pac nuthugger. Almost everybody predicted DLH to murder Pacquaio and I also see the same result based on my analysis. What's wrong with that Youngblood? It gives me more reason to put Pacquiao in top ten because of that fight. I couldn't believe that Pacquaio has a chance against DLH and he proved me dismally wrong.I went against my boy because that seems to be the logical way to go. Pacquaio has shown the world of how great he is and only a hater would make excuses out of his wins.

Time to put away all our biases and admit that there is one great fighter amidst us and we should be thankful that he has shown us how it is to be a great fighter.

He is humble and most importantly, he wins fights when even his rabid supporter (that's me) bet against him.

Can't wait to see a post from someone who IS a hugger

Throughout pacs career those who dislike him are often wrong but yet they still have the thickness to continue to say as much ridiculous things as those who overly adore him. I think the nuetral can agree that both side are delusional. Sure a few years ago the comments such as pac would ko hatton was ridiculous when it came from a pac fan. It did happen though, right? I know I know his not superman like some fans would say but I think theres more credit due to his fan then any remark the anti pac makes.

As for how great manny is? Now a days I just sit back with very little to say cause Pac is slowly forcing these haters to admit they were wrong all along. Sure some are still thick as hell but let them rot that way the longer they deny the longer they suffer

Pac has been complimented as the greatest southpaw ever, I kinda dont agree just yet but Im happy to hear that.

Pac has been compared to the great Armstrong, again thats a huge compliment and Im happy to hear it.

These are top 5 - 10 atg comparison but I can not say pac is there yet.

At the end of pacs career I believe he'll be unforgettable to both fan and anti pac. Thats the real measurement of GREATNESS.

Who was it that said he's the greatest Southpaw ever?

Pernell Whittaker in my book is the greatest SP at these weight classes. I'll choose him in his prime over anyone at 135-140 at their prime.

In closing , I don't think any sportsman can be judged and placed until they are retired, not that I think Pac is dumb enough but what would his legacy be should he say lose his next fight, then another two trying a comeback. I think placing him anywhere in the top 100 is premature in terms of where his final placing would be.

Agreed Pernell Whitaker was amazing and is one of my favorite fighters, IMO he only lost once and that was when he just got out of rehab, and was way past his prime. And that was against a prime Felix Trinidad.

And to me despite Pernell Whitaker losing, which i hate to see. He still showed an iron chin and a great heart. I mean how many people went the distance with a prime Felix Trinidad ?

Its not like Pernell Whitaker was blown away either, he hurt Felix Trinidad badly with a body shot in the 7th round. And if i remember rightly may of technically scored a knockdown, although i can't remember exactly.

And people also don't know Pernell Whitaker had a broken jaw aswell, Pernell Whitaker wasn't just a great boxer. He could slug it out and dig deep and he showed that in quite a few fights.

That's what gets me, the people who set him up as a god like figure and only go on about him. They are purely Manny fans, with the odd exception you don't hear them comment on any other fighters as it's just a national pride thing which is great but not reflective of the general nature of the board, which is for fans of boxing not individuals.

For someone to issue a statement saying that I or anyone dislikes a fighter because he is Asian is plain dumb. That's a chip on the shoulder they have to bear, not me. As a fight fan I don't care what colour or nationality they are so don't go there. The majority of my sporting heroes are black or Hispanic, and living in Australia I live and work amongst a large number of Asians many of whom are friends.

We don't hate Manny, as a fighter I respect his achievements thus far and hope he continues on with his success. If a regular here says he has him on his all time great list and has him high then cool. If someone who only watches Pac fights says the same thing then that obviously doesn't carry much weight.
