I fail to see how,. It is true I've got to adjust my choice of words when coming on here. If I spoke to any of you guys in Liverpool you wouldn't have a clue what I'm saying with the words I use in real life to friends.

You want me to start speaking my own idiolect then I'm all for it. But I ain't gonna. Because you wouldn't know what I'ld be saying. Here's a couple of examples.

"Wats apenin mate" transfers into "Hello, what you upto" for you guys.

"You coming out for a scran" transfers into "You want a bite to eat?"

I say the first 2 phrases in real life.

See what I mean ? Much easier to use another dialect on here. Which is what I have to do to communicate. Otherwise nobody knows what the fukk I am saying.

I use that word all the time. I say to Mum when is "Scran" ready.
