While i think Marquez is the most intelligent and skilled fighter Floyd has faced...it's unfortunate that the natural size and weight advantage will not be in his favor. It's one thing if Marquez was going up in weight to fight a bigger, stronger...but SLOWER fighter. He could than use his speed and skill to his advantage. But he is going up in weight to fight a guy who is just as skilled as him AND is faster than him. Sure...when you look at them standing next to each other...the weight and size don't look all that apparent. And Floyd isn't a big guy anyways. BUT...Floyd is training on sharpening his skills....while Marquez has to train on not only the normal stuff...but also increasing his size, strength, etc. This fight will also come down to strategy. It has been proven over and over that you cannot beat Floyd with all out pressure. Floyd also isn't Pac...where he is going jump in to trade...leaving himself open to Marquez's outstanding counter punching. To beat Floyd...you need to posses a good/great jab, have great speed and endurance (2 things Floyd has in spades), and fight with controlled aggression. If Marquez can do these things...and Floyd is rusty from his near 2 year lay off...Juan has a chance. Otherwise...Floyd's natural speed advantage will lead to points victory.
