Have to agree, the guy's funny, I don't necessarily want a commentator who thinks exactly like I do. Much prefer him to the likes of Kellerman or UK's Ian Darke who have zero boxing experience and get by with repeating others comments and stating the fucking obvious all the time.

Totally agree. Kellerman is the worst of them for me. He isn't much of an expert and kow tows to nonsense like the decision in the Malignaggi fight. "This was a case of the market talking" or something like that. It made me steam a little. Just tell it like it was, it was a fight you had Malignaggi winning! Don't play this bullshit game of trying to appease the Golden Boy fags. Pathetic. Bring back Larry merchant. He's brilliant and not afraid to challenge boxers nor say what he thinks.

He comes across a complete and utter dork. How he got into boxing commentating is totally beyond me TBH. I wish James Toney would just eat him and then flush him down the toilet 24 hours later.
