IMHO he retired for a number of reasons.....

1: what happened to Paul Ingle effected him
    2: 9/11 think about it
3: got a new wife and kid see 1:
    4: hated training
    5: multi millionare
6: the fans would'nt buy the mis matches after his 0 had gone.

    thats my opinion anyways

Ive always thought 9/11 played apart as well because he had to fight in the states as well people may not have been interested or could have tried some kind of stunt what with him being a famous Muslim Arab. I also think when he said at an Amir Khan fight he was coming back in 2006 regardless i believed had he not gone to prison he would have.

    Yep ........

    1. Hated training ...... began to rely on his power and lost the hunger to work on his technique.
    2. Would always be found wanting aginst a top class fighter, bearing in mind (1) above. Didn't want to make the sacrifices to rebuild his technique, which is akin to a golfer redesigning his swing .... very hard work!
    3. Built his image up so that crowd interest was on seeing him beaten. Once it happened, there wasnt a USP
    4. Why bother - he was rich, married with a young family and had fallen out of love with the sport.

    Good post Saddo

When I think of great fighters Naz is the last person to enter my mind. The thing he loved most about boxing was himself. I must admit I loved to watch him fight, he was slick and powerful.
The problem I have with him is he was full of himself which was ok untill he lost for once giving him the opportunity to back up his greatness. But what does he do... He goes home all upset and drowns his sorrows with his best friend Mr Cake.

he did comeback after his loss he went up against manuel calvo, he got boo'd by everyone and had things thrown at him, I think that had a part of him not returning to the ring also.
a spontaneous creation with multiple moods.
