Dont get me wrong mate i think Haye is an exciting prospect for the heavyweight division and i wanna see what he can do. I think Wlad beats him but if he beats Wlad then it shakes things up and we could have some action going in the heavyweight division.

BUT at the moment the guy has been talking and talking...then talking some more....a little more talking...but thats all. He has proven nothing at the moment except the fact that he can talk shit with the best of them. At least mayweather talks shit, gets in the ring, beats his opponent and thats it. Dont even say floyd ducked margarito or cotto...fuck dela hoya was worth more then those two fights combined, it was good business. Margarito was over hyped and would of been beaten soundly and cotto would be as well. Everyone was calling for the hatton fight and everyone thought hatton would win...so floyd jumps in and flogs him and all of a sudden hatton is nothing. Oscar was going to knock floyd out...floyd jumps in the ring and out boxes him but Oscar was "shot" .

So until haye does jump in the ring and knocks out valuev (which really doesnt say much, hes hopeless...ruiz nearly beat him!! ) and beats the klitschkos i dont think you can really say Haye hasnt ducked anyone and has the right to mouth off more then mayweather.

Lets be real here for a second, Haye isint even at the level or hasnt proven himself to the extent Floyd has. David couldn't hold Floyd's jock and Pound for Pound speaking compared to Mayweather, Haye would be Floyd's new cleaning lady... Again I like David always have hope and praying he is the real deal and cleans out the division but again David cant even sniff Floyd's legacy at this point not to mention Floyd could buy and sell Haye 10x over.

Also as far as class goes, Floyd never personally attacked anyones family with insults nor has he been down right crude in the matter Haye has.. so in comparison Haye is 20x the asshole Floyd could ever be

Haye will beat Valuev I agree, but I actually do think that he is a ducker re Klitchsko and has yet to show he has the ability to justify the mouth that he loves running off so much

How do you know it was a scheduling conflict, and just not Floyd being Floyd?

And do you really want to compare his professionalism to Cotto's? I read everything, and anything related to Cotto, I have him on my Google Reader for Christ's sake, and never do I recall anyone from the media ever saying that Cotto has behaved unprofessional when it comes to the media. I've only seen nothing but praise for his professionalism. Do you see Cotto calling the HBO commentators racists? Or ranting and clapping his hands like a spoiled, insecure child when he gets called out by someone in the media? Have you seen Cotto call for the media to come to his gym and be late for it?

When you see that happen, let me know, then I'll say you can compare the two.

The poor media

As someone who has worked as a journalist & cameraman, I can't say I have much sympathy. If it was genuine fans, I would think that was deplorable, but from experience I can tell you most journalists will be given every favour by a source/interviewee & promptly shove it back in their face once they've got what they wanted, part of the reason I lost enthusiasm for it.

In contrast, Floyd's behaviour in London was the complete opposite going outside & spending nearly an hour talking & signing things for the fans who had not been allowed into the gym by staff.

I know you can't stand him Diane, but like JT says if Cotto had done this would you really hold it against him? He has been criticized by the media, certainly in his own country, for being 'unprofessional' because of his drinking & alleged womanizing (not saying that's true). I certainly don't think this particular example is any more 'unprofessional' than that, although I don't consider either particularly so.

* I think Diane would probably go through his entire security team like she's Jack Bauer were she to get a shot at his underwear or what's beneath them. Now I've set her off.
