Sure bud, go ahead and lol then bust their heads open if that cheers you up. Maybe even blow their fucking heads off if you want. It will solve one problem for sure, but I'd say there is value in figuring out how these children got so fucked up in the first place, so as maybe to prevent these sorts of thngs. After we do that, then you can do your thing.

What the hell are you talking about?

Reading comprehension isn't everyone's strong suit, I know, but the point of my post is that suggesting violence is a laughable option, as they are likely a protect of their environment. And I expected the irony of such a thing.

Fuck reading comprehension. Try making a clear point. You're the one who talked about another post that advocated beating their brains in, then said exactly, so pardon me if I thought that you were go along with that.

Anways, obviously I missed your irony. So we move on.

Not sure how it could have been much clearer. Anyway, I've watched this post waiting for this exact reply ( no offence personally yvonne, these things anger us and someone was bound to say it), and knew it was just a matter of time. I was actually expecting it to be more in the frame of "kids now a days got it too easy, we need to go back to when u could cuff a kid for stepping out of line and not pamper them etc..." kinda logic.

If anything, I think it has a lot more to do with kids having too much time on their hands, and next to zero self-esteem. And shitty undisiplined upbringing. Even more then the violence factor, although I am sure it plays a role.

A lot of the people in my boxing club come from some shitty broken family backgrounds, but you can tell the ones by whose (usually single) parent shows up and support them, or who get grounded for skipping a class, or doing something dumb, from the ones with 2 parents, lots of money and free reign and little consequence for their actions. Worlds apart in respect for self and other things.

When you think about it its amazing how parenting has evolved .

In the Victorian and Edwardian times of our Grandparents and theirs you used to get it beat out of you and alot of murders were more sneaky with poisons, smotherings and other accidents /hot liquids too. Wife beatings and child beatings were put undercovers as family issues so it got past along and didnt decrease greatly until my parents era and they would smack you down only if you really deserved it not as an excepted way of teaching. my point is that major shit still went down back then but in different ways.
The Church creating sexual repression ,frustration then sexual dysfunctions through shame is to blame for much behind doors insestious stuff too, back then.
And worse for the serial killers of old when all that sexual guilt got mixed with seething anger lust and jealousy.

In my folks time of the war and industiral age, alot of public vented nasty stuff died down cause everyone was in survival mode anyway.
Parents were out at work all the time and it was still a left over from the Victorian times that you didnt show love for your family members outwardly but would give gifts and the like and would work hard for them and that is how love was to be shown. Affection was out, so was praise generally. The way to teach and learn was through getting your mistakes pointed out to you with and end result of some punishment so you remembered next time.

Then you have our era of parenting now and there is a whole mixture.

Aside from the violent games and movies making it exceptable real life ; then the false look and lifestyle counts as everything mentality, no wonder some imature people flip out.

We have some people who show love to their kids and teach them the consequences of their actions and let them decide and pay for it or gain from it their own way.

***You got greedy slackers who shouldnt have ever had children cause they only look after them a minimum because otherwise it wouldnt look good publicly, although they still concentrate more on themselves than their kids.

**Then you got the spoilt which is also love deprivation but cleverly disguised.

*And we still got some Victorian style ,stict regimented ,beat them a bit, show less love but more action, stiff upper lip, "we took it (made me a man) so you can take it too" types still around as well.

*Its not hard to look at the statistics and generally work out which type of ground the different kinds of problems grow out of the most.

Its a tough life and we are not easy on ourselves or on others which is a shame cause it runs over into the next generations.

At the end of the day I think if people feel they are loved more than they feel they are being controlled, you have a better chance of them being loving and respectfull.
