Oh Ricky... you're so humble and gracious in defeat... you're truly a man of the people...
It's just one excuse after another.
Stop embarrassing yourself... You got beaten by a fighter with more brains than yourself, that's that.

I think Hatton's confidence is so shot that he keeps making excuses trying to convince himself that he can come back and mix it with the best in the world again if he has a good training camp.
Everyone no's that he is past his best it gets to every fighter in the end weather they like it or not.Hope Ricky makes it out of boxing in full health but if he continues to take punches like he has done in his last few fights he will get hurt.(excluding Paulie who carnt break an egg)

Oh? Is it so obvious? Just because he got slaughtered by PAC it must be because he is past his prime? Sounds kinda like an excuse of a different kind to me. I'd say the PAC fight was over too soon to tell for sure.
Seems to me some of Hatton's biggest fans were tossing around words like "brilliant" and "great" when he was thumping Maglianaggi. Not to mention how they rejected the possibility that Kostya was past it when hatton was pushing him around. But I guess that's different.

You're obviously not aware that Hatton's best was behind him after 2:56 of the first round of the Mayweather fight. Although it obviously visited him during the Malignaggi fight, only to disappear again. Odd how it only chooses to do that when he fights a legitimate elite opponent![]()

And to be honest, the way Malignaggi looked against Hatton and then how he looked against Diaz I think that was more the case of Malignaggi being shit that night then Hatton 'finding his greatness' That Mayweather KO was still fresh in his mind. But Pacquiao would always have beaten him if Hatton fought that recklessly

He's making excuses and he knows he's making excuses. He was getting knocked around by his sparring partners, never mind Manny.

I actually had Manny Pacquiao dominating the 2nd round as well. Hatton looked better. But he was losing the 2nd round without question. No way he was winning that.
