    I use 'bob and weave' all the time.Dont know why,wrote it in a birthday card yesterday for a co-worker going through rough times?

    "he's slipped the jab and delivered a hard straight right" is quite commonly used in everyday conversation.

    As is " he rolled under his opponents left hook and countered with a sweetly timed uppercut, putting his oppenent down for a count of 8". I use that all the time.
