haha why now? Frustrating.
Oh well I tend to think so what he's still shot but I guess this will end the debate to some extent, if he still looks poor he's obviously shot period.
Cmon James!!!! Good on him dropping all that weight, like to see him retire on top
While I do 100% totally despise him...he was an amazing fighter & I'm sure still has the potential to be one still...but he needs to be disciplined & also move about 30lbs offa his ass cheeks & gut.
I'd love to see him get back to 175lbs & face Roy or Hopkins...or even take it back to cruiser where both of dem yunginz'd be able to make that match.
Mouthwatering!!!
Also...to Daxx & everyone on the board that knows me & I knows dem :
Just wanted to say howdy, I'm back, missed you fellars, & thanks for the kind words!!!
Trying to rep everybody that reped me while I was away.
That's "reped me while I was away"...not raped me!!!
Heh heh heh.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
James certainly looks in a hell of a lot better shape than he has been

He does look much better than in recent years. He also sounded pretty good in that interview too.
I really hope Toney puts on a good showing, he is due one. I don't know what happened to Toney between the second Rahman fight and the Oquendo one. Toney seemed in a great place before fighting Rahman, but slipped again with Oquendo. He seems to be back in that pre Rahman mindset and seems in even better condition now.
If he doesn't look good in this then he must retire. There can be no excuses after making the effort to whittle down a few pounds.
He will put on a good performance at this weight, I hope.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
The injury he had in the run up to that camp was a tear of his bicep tendon... a very common injury for steroid takers. Connective tissue can't keep up with the muscles.
I guess it's a question of what came first the Egg or the Chicken (or the steroids or the injury) and my money is on the juice.
Toney looked good. My fight report will be up here in a day or two, you can see the photos of his "new" body.
Greer was a bit of a schlub. He was wearing plain ol' gym shorts, not boxing trunks and the guy didn't eve have a cup on.
Toney's legs looked good he was quick on his feet, but I don't know if he could hang with anyone in the top ten now. He plans on fighting again next month.
At the post fight press conf. Goosen mentioned a possible HW tourny in the WBC for the top contenders and Toney said his goal right now is to win that.
Thanks for that one.looking forward to full view.
Sounds like Toneys realizes that this is in fact 'It' for him.Would like to see him have a go as early as next month,in shape but sounds like he def needs a bigger threat.Dont know about a tournament, might take too much time.
