Now he's completely natural to say so, no steroids or nothing, course he's build like a wall but it looks quite human to say so. Still, before that run, a couple of years ago, he got interested into steroids and make something like 2 cycles with a stuff he injected himself called "DK" or something like that.
Well, in one year, he went from skinny like me to a real monster without training as hard as he does today. He's still big today but REALLY, nothing compared to that stuff he took. We talked a few times about that and he still agrees that steroids can shape you into a monster... with every conseqwuences that can go along with it in the long time of you persist to take such substance for too long.
I'm sorry my man but you don't know the first thing about training if you think you can take steroids or any form of chemical enhancement and work "less" hard to progress.
The whole point of steroids, if educated people do them correctly, is that they allow you to surpass the point where your genetics would otherwise impose a limit.
So for example - (and it's not this simple but to put it into Laymans terms so that you can understand) - John benches 100kg and has been stuck at that plateau for 3 months with no size gains or strength gains and he practices perfect nutrition. He has obviously reached his genetic potential.
He takes steroids and this ends up allowing him to bench 120kg - Hence, more stimulation of muscle fibres and more intense breakdown of them too. This allows John to grow beyond his genetic capacity.
So your friend who took "DK" (donkey kong? wtf? Not even a steroid) and got massive without training as hard has just defied human nature. So there are really 3 outcomes - either you're bullshitting, he's bullshitting or he has the most amazing genetics known to man. The truth usually sits somewhere in the middle (he's bullshitting)
Again, I'd urge you to research for yourself and make up your own mind. One thing I will say is that some people DO respond better to chemical enhancement than others but you're not going to surpass your genetic potential by training LESS intensely. The whole point is that they allow you to train MORE intensely.
Those ethopians as well should all be banned from endurance events dam it...damn cheaters have more slow twitch muscle fibres and higher hematocrit than other people - Ban them!! We need a level playing field!!
