Wouldnt be the biggest upset, i also think that Del Potro is one of the main players now and at 20 is maturing well I think Federer is on top of his game right now and was amazing against Djokovic last night, the h2h is not much of a confidence booster for Del Potro 6-0 in Feds favour but I think you can look beyond that a little as Del Potro is still young and I think now is coming to his peak, similar to how Hewitt matured alot earlier than Federer and was something like 8-2 in h2h with Roger but since Fed won his first Slam he has beat Hewitt I think something like 17 times on the bounce.

Im gonna stick with Federer in straight sets, I think he will just have a bit to much tonight for Del Potro but like you said in a earlier thread Big H i would put the house on him winning a slam before Murray.

On another note, Federer has made the last 4 of every grand slam for 22 times on the run, that is amazing thats over 5 years!!! People still doubt he is the best ever, to put it in context the best after that is 10 by Ivan Lendl.

I think that is his most impressive statistic, even more than the amount of slams he has won. I mean it's almost unbelievable that somebody could stay injury free (even though he had a period of quite bad illness) and at that level of form without any blip!

just finished watching the whole of fed-djokovic

novak played so well for 98% of the game but just froze at those important moments. Federers forehand is simply unbeatable. You spend 8-10 returns working up to getting him right on the backfoot and he goes and hits a winning forehand as if it was the easiet thing in the world.

Dont give del potro a chance in hell tonight and expect another straight sets title for fed
    one dangerous horrible bloke

Another stat Federer has just broke along with the dozens of others in the history of tennis, is he is the first player to make the grand slam final of all four grand slams in three different years.

The guy has only just turned 28 aswell, so if he stays motivated surely he has at least 2/3 slams left in him after this one.

Fed should lnock the stuffing out of Del Monte tonight; I hope he does I can't stand that tree looking stuttering boomba. He's beat that douche like the last 7 meetings so he better not blow it tonight; I don't see how he will Fed is playing some of the best tennis I've seen him play in a long while. Del Puto has got his serve on target though and he's got a very good game, so this could go to some tie breaks; but I'm betting straight sets or maybe 4.

Was funny watching that cape buffalo Serena implode the other night; hahahahahahahaha fukking cow. Should have banned her from the doubles final and the next major, or at least Shanghai. Good for Kimmy so nice to see her whoop on both the hood rats.
