Finding this news hard to take. Achieved his dream at the olympics and no doubt would have done it in the professional game. Sad loss. RIP Dazzler

RIP. You see something like that and think that guy had everything going for him. But you never really know what's going on with people.

Thats what makes it more shocking (as Jaz said).

Apart from his talent/potential, he really did come across as a nice, hard trying, respectable guy.

I can't believe that one of the best boxing prospects, but more importantly one who came across as a real gentleman of the sport has been lost so young.

Sutherland had shown a huge amount of promise since going pro, and had looked very good in his performances so far. 2009 has been a horrible year so far in terms of the boxers that we have lost, and Sutherland as one of the young guns of British boxing is horrible.

I couldn't believe what I heard the first time I heard it on a radio. As with others, I hope his family find strength in this difficult time, and that he will RIP.
