    If Danny could get himself fit, and get the weight down, he could walk it. The best performance I've seen of his was a couple of years ago when he outclassed Scott Gammer. I think he was about 16 1/2 stone, as oppose to the lardy near 20 he has been for the last while.

    Of course ,what I'm saying is academic because I'm sure he won't lose a pound but, if the ravages of age haven't taken too much toll, he still has a very good chance. He has more skill than Sprott and more heart than Audley, so I'll root for him.

    The scales were wrong. He was actually around 18 1/2 stone but they played along with it. I saw him say it in a recent interview.

    Really? Suppose that's possible but he certainly looked more than a stone lighter than his usual weight.

    That's probably because he was weighing in 19 stone plus.

    I can't remember the interview, but he laughed when asked about the Gammer fight weight.

    I was at the Gammer-Williams fight.I dont know what he weighed but I had this picture taken after the fight and he looked in good nick.No fat on him at all.
