Anytbody else thinks Mayweather stops Marquez ?

I think he'll work on Floyd solidly and wear him down to a point where he's going to look a little more average that usual. I've had this feeling for about a month Floyd stops him late on.

I just think the weight will be too big of a jump for Marquez and he has been hurt several times before by fighters that aren't as good as Floyd. Mayweather just hits so accurate and I can see all them shots taking there toll on Marquez.

Also Mayweather wants to prove a point, he wants to be back with a bang. Everybody is high on Pacquiao right now. Come Saturday that is going to change, Floyd will make it change.

I'm going to the bookies later to put money on a Floyd stoppage.

Why did Floyd chose to fight Marquez when there were other bigger fights out there besides Manny? He could have fought Shane, Cotto, or Pwill, all of which would have been bigger fights for more money. The reason he chose Marquez is because a fight with Marquez gives him the chance to fight much more offensively.

Who knows? The ring rust from Mayweather may be a telling factor, especially early on. Marquez is a great fighter and although Mayweather has a weight advantage it might not be much of a factor - even more so because Mayweather will be moving down in weight, again after a 20 month lay-off.

Marquez is a tough guy to face for a comeback fight.

Mayweather may very well do a number on JMM, but JMM will never be out of the fight and may perhaps come from behind to win this. I think as smart and as tough as JMM is and with him coming UP in weight and Floyd going DOWN in weight, I wouldn't be surprised if JMM sparked Floyd out!

JMM may go down early and often, but he'll be around at the finish!

We could see a couple different outcomes of this fight, some mirroring the following (in bold are the ones I think are most likely):

Chavez-Mayweather
Chavez-Whittaker
Mayweather-Castillo I or II
Mayweather-Hatton
Mayweather-De la Hoya
Mayweather-Corrales

Marquez doesn't hit nearly as hard as JCC and floyd won't get hit anywhere near as many times as meldrick...

although i do think that because it took a few rounds for floyd to get used to the smaller hatton's quickness, who btw way is no where near as sharp as marquez...given that two year layoff plus the caliber of fighter marquez is, I think he will either score a flash knockdown, or hit floyd a lot in the early rounds. It will be closer than most people think. Only way i see floyd stopping JMM is if he keep him on the end of a stiff jab and straights in the early going. This fight could resemble how tom brady looked the first three and a half quarters of the past monday night game.

Brady was rusty with a year layoff but in crunch time and a little luck he found his grove and pulled it out...

If Cotto beats Pacquiao, how is Floyd out on his own in this division? Not really related. Cotto beat Clottey, Mosley, Quintana, and Pacquiao. His only loss was questionable. Mayweather hasn't beat one true elite welterweight in a long while. Clearly, he would be the best P4P.

True, but I think Marquez is a better boxer and throws better combinations than JCC. I think Marquez has enough in him to hurt Floyd, he mixes up going to the body and the head better than anyone Floyd has fought since Castillo and I think this fight may mirror that one.

marquez is the clear underdog and is expected to get stopped. If he doesn't get stopped that will be a major surprise.
