That might well end up being the case. Haye doesn't have a big enough following, nor is there a big enough demand to force that fight to happen if Wlad really doesn't want it to (for whatever reason). It's a shame because we all know how much the HW division needs a boost and that fight at least had some people talking. It'll probably go back to business as usual now.
I say if Haye beats Valuev in good fashion and both Klits come out unscathed that they would give him another shot and that Haye would bring enough fans. There is plenty of money to be made fighting Haye IMO. Too much to turn down for sure. The excitement and fan interest with the initial fight against Klit was great, and despite the fight not going ahead, alot of people certainly know who David Haye is now.....

dont know where haye would get these supposed fans from

sure haye vs a klitschko would sell out any boxing arena in the UK, but its very unlikely you would get thousands travelling to germany to see him fight.

I want to like david i really do. the guy is everything heavyweight boxing doesnt have right now and is a perfect hallmark to revitalise the division.

But lets be honest here...haye fights once a year, only has 20 bouts to his current name and is already talking about retiring once he becomes world champ. His trying to skip his way into the records books rather than actually putting the hard work in something you will never be able to label either klitschko
