The fact that Mayweather never got to 144lb means he will drain himself and intends to put an impressive beating on JMM. He wins he earns more money against Cotto or Pac.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

All this just leaves a sour taste in your mouth! I wanted JMM to win anyway but now I'm praying he wins!
PBF said in 24/7 last week that he'd already made weight and was ready to fight right there and then. If that was the case then why would we he then lose 600k by not making weight at the weigh-in? As if he didn't already have every possible advantage anyway, what a pussy!!!
Just out a curiosity, does anyone know how heavy either Pac or Diaz weighed come fight night against Marquez?
Was wondering how much heavier Floyd will be compared to fighters Marquez has already been in the ring with...

....I think Pacquiao was 145lbs at fight night against Juan Manuel in their second fight... a bit too much gain before the fight. He rehydrated more than what is ideal (he got winded quite easily during the fight, specifically after the first)... but fortunately they learned from that experience and concluded that Pac has outgrown the Jr lightweight division, and so it was time to move on to other higher weight divisions.
* Pacquiao weighed even more (146 lbs) at fight night against Erik Morales in their third encounter!
...I don't know about Juan Diaz' weight at fight night against Marquez.

bemused really
How the hell can someone who trains year in year out for 147 not be able to drop 2 extra pounds to make weight??
No conspiracy theorys here, floyds purse is gonna be severly hit and we all know how much that`ll hurt him. Someone seriously dropped a bollock on this one!!
one dangerous horrible bloke

I guess I sum it up like this, what Floyd did was cold calculated strategy he seized an advantage and will pay the monetary cost with in the contract.
JMM will now be 600k richer to fight an opponent 2lbs heavier than expected not bad afterall
Also I couldnt help but feel good for Marquez, this whole promotion has allowed him to get the exposure and accolades he deserved all along. Instead of being known as a guy who gave Manny Pacquiao a run and a silent #2 PFP fighter, he has now got the spotlight and credit he deserves for being a great fighter/ warrior and one who has had an incredible career... Long over due Juan![]()
