What a prick! "I'm a big boxing guy" my arse.

He's been on one about boxing ever since a very old Ray Mercer KO'd former UFC Heavyweight champ Tim Sylvia in a cage. Now I repect the fact that Sylvia was never the strongest champ they have ever had and that fight was after the UFC had let him go, but he was at the top of his sport in a bigger way than Mercer ever was in his, and then Mercer crosses to MMA and at 48ish (I'm not sure) sparks him in 8 seconds. Now I know many MMA fans who were saying at the time that it was a kick in the teeth for MMA and I didn't totally agree, but Dana White is just trying to knock boxing constantly and is proving them right.

The point is DANA WHITE couldn't make that fight happen and he has implied that as the Czar of UFC he gives you 100% of the fights you want and it's a FACT that he can't and he runs a LEAGUE so one would think he'd have an easier time doing such because he wouldn't have to deal with different promoters or television contracts or anything else.

Dana White is what I dislike about MMA, his attitude, his persona, that is the stereotype of the average MMA fan/fighter and that's what holds me back from 100% accepting the sport.

Agreed Dana White is a complete moran and most people, even MMA fans would agree. But there are similur slime balls in boxing, probably worse especailly politics.

Fans on either side just need to get over it, saying the UFC sucks, boring fights etc is complete garbage and the same goes UFC fans on boxing. They both offer awsome fights and i for one will be tuning in for both victor belfort v francklin bout and Floyd v JMM fight.
