I agree and have been saying this for a while. Pac may beat guys like dela hoya and hatton but they are no floyd mayweather. Floyd has awesome defence and power is a massive part of pacs game plan. Hes gotta be able to hurt you to win and to do that you have to hit cleanly which will be something he cant and wont do against mayweather.

I don't know if it would be more lopsided, Pac presents an entirely different challege, but I still think Mayweather would win decisively. I think if he'd gone all out he could've stopped Marquez tonight and I think he'd be able to do the same thing to Pacquiao. I do think a Pacquiao - Mayweather fight would be more competitive though.

IMO, Pac and Williams are the two biggest threats to Mayweather, and not necessarily in that order.

You touched on it here Snakey, Pac is awesome against someone that will charge forward head first like Hatton and De La Hoya (because he didn't think Pac could hurt him) did, but when he gets put in with a good counter puncher (Marquez) he struggles like hell. Well Mayweather is the greatest counter puncher in the world and is way faster than Marquez and has the perfect defence for a boxer. My view for this fight would be a stoppage win for Mayweather, Pac would get hit all night long and be pot shotted into a stoppage!
