Just watched the fight again and i'm curious as to what exactly did shane do? Floyd seemed to wave shane over when Max said about him and it was Hopkins who started shouting and sticking his head in, i didn't hear Shane do or say anything really?

I don't blame Mosley at all. Kellerman was the one who pointed the microphone in his face and allowed him to talk to Floyd. The real problem was Bernard Hopkins. He was the one who instigated and escalated the scenario during the interview. For a minute I felt bad for Mayweather, because this was his time to basque in the glow of his one sided victory over a cherry-picked opponent. But only for a minute. Before the brouhaha, Floyd was in typical form, evading questions like he evades punches and then getting on Kellerman for asking the questions he was expected to. Kellerman was just doing his job, asking questions about the weight issue. The best part was when Floyd spent the first three minutes thanking God, his family, and his sponsors. Then he says he just wants to talk about his victory. Then he says he doesn't want to talk about money!! What a contradictory fool!!
So, I don't have sympathy for Floyd. When you talk a lot of shit and spend your life showing little class, it eventually comes back to bite you.

Hopkins cracks me up, a guy approaching late middle age with such a chip on his shoulder. I saw it the same way purtyboy saw it, thought Shane was always trying to defuse it. I have no problems with scenes like this, it's entertaining and might actually lead to a great match up. Don't think it was planned either judging by Floyds reactions.
And can we please stop all the BS that Floyd is a small Welterweight after his weigh in, unless we're gonna invent a new 'Floyd' class at 146 where all the 'big' bullies can't get him.

I personally am glad Mosley and Hopkins done this.
It should create some drama for a Mosley - Mayweather clash ( actual Welterweights).

He doesn't have the power to even scratch him, Shane has an iron Jaw and the power of Floyd is more than subject ot discussion when he fights peoples his own size. Doesn't mean he couldn't win the fight but that would be hitting 2-3 times per round and running with the wind after.

Shane and BHop mugged Floyd but after the post fight interviews he seemed to imply he would fight Cott/Pac winner.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Agreed, Agreed, Agreed.....BTW JT Mayweathers offers in the past that Mosley turned down were insulting splits that were more suited for Journeyman to accept not an ATG HOF fighter......
I hate to be the damper but the WW and surrounding divisions flourished in Floyd's absence.....Big fights were made and no titles were held up because of a whiny dick head who has a crack head for a father, sexual predator for a trainer/uncle....and likes to claim he is from the inner city hood when even his own Uncle Jeff called him out on it.....
Floyd is not good for boxing, he does not fight the best there is to offer, his PPV ratings are based on his opponents not him.......
Regardless of his skill set which are impressive he refuses to prove he is the best by not fighting the best there is when they are at their best...
Floyd avoided defending his title before his mock retirement by fighting a past best DLH that had him beat until he stopped jabbing and followed it up by fighting a smaller Hatton avoiding the WW Cream of the Crop....
But I suppose that was by chance and it just turned out that way because Floyd was doing ALL HE COULD TO MAKE FIGHTS WITH THE BEST
I find it amazing that Cotto, Margarito, Mosley and Williams all caught the small pox, swine flu and meningitis at the same time because Floyd sure the fuck avoided them all like they had all 3 disease's at once.....
His first fight back really had nothign to do with wanting to fight a smaller man it had to do with Floyd hoping he could test the waters on how tough Pacquiao would be by fighting Marquez because the Marquez/Pacquiao fights were so close.....Manny is a better fighter now then then but that matters none because Floyd is a WW and needs to fight top WW's
He has had a title at 154 but I bet my house on the fact he wouldn't fight Williams if Paul said he would do it for free and let Floyd hit him the first 5 rounds without throwing a single punch back.....
Because Floyd is a cherry picking Coward
