P4P is pure mythical crap, come on. Lets have Floyd as a good old, lineal Welterweight champ. That means he needs to beat Cotto, Mosely and Berto, end of........ PBF would starch PAC, let get back to some real competetive fights for the lad shall we...... If he's so great like he spouts off to be, he'd fight a fair competetive fights. The weight for this fight was farcical.
Just to add, fighting Paul Williams would absolve him of a fight with all three of the above. Bet you PBF don't have the balls to fight him for sure.....

If you look at the styles. Marquez only landed about 75 punches the fight maybe more. And that had nothing to do with Mayweathers weight. At a lesser weight Floyd would be quicker and faster. Fact is he outquicked and outboxed Marquez. Marquez couldn't find him anywhere in the ring and if you think that it had anything to do with Mayweathers weight it would be delusional.

You have a point, but Marquez was that small he really couldn't get close never mind get inside atall. It kinda reminded me of Darchinyan vs Burgos. Burgos being a good fighter, but just couldn't get anywhere near Vic due the the reach and size advantage..... I still say floyd should have put the lights out.

No he didn't. He showed Marquez something Marquez wasn't expecting. A jab. He jabbed Marquez all night and Marquez just couldn't avoid the leaping left hook, Floyd showed great timing and defense and presented Marquez with a style he just couldn't figure out. Marquez couldn't land anything and when he went back in the corner he would put his hands on his lips like "Alright how the heck do I beat this guy" It is the first time I've seen Marquez this befuddled and confused with another fighter. Mayweathers speed was a great factor, but unlike Pacquiao Mayweather was the one timing Marquez when people thought it could be the other way around if Marquez had a chance. It was a brilliant performance. Floyd landed nearly 60 percent of his punches and Marquez landed maybe 12 percent of his. That had nothing to do with the weight. Even if they were the same weight class Marquez landed nothing that would have ever hurt Mayweather, he barely landed anything at all and he was trying but even with his combinations Floyd wasn't getting hit. He was just too skillful for Marquez and that would have been the case at any weight

I'm not saying weight was the only factor, but it definitely was A factor. Sure, Floyd outboxed him, but when was the last time we have seen Marquez so cautious and gun shy? He was clearly hesitant to let his hands go because he was wary of the bigger man's power. He looked completely intimidated by Floyd's size advantage if you ask me.

Why would he fight Paul Williams. He filled half an arena against Winky. What would he make from fighting Williams?
He's either going to get Pac/Cotto or Mosley. And he'll beat all 3. Williams would be tough but he doesn't sell tickets. High risk, low reward fight. I'd like to see it, but it's not happening and i don't blame Floyd. it doesn't make business sense. Besides, after he beat him there would be 15 threads about how he wouldn't beat Berto.
