How to beat Mayweather?

I've always felt the type of fighter that could beat Floyd is a tall rangy welterweight with very long arms and a good jab.

There's no one out there right now who really fits that profile.

Tommey Hearns with out a doubt in my mind would beat Mayweather. A fighter like Sugar Ray Leonard would beat him convincing as well. I fit Benitez would also be a kind of fighter to give him trouble as well. Problem is all those guys are in there 50s and have not fought in over 10 years.

of course Hearns beats Mayweather. Most ATG Welterweights beat PBF at welterweight. PBF was best at 130 anyway.

also not-so-ATG guys like Marlon Starling, Curry, Buddy McGirt all beat him.

Why do you think McGirt beats him? McGirt lost to Meldrick Taylor once and Pernell Whitaker twice. Mayweather is better than Taylor and is a pretty solid comp for Whitaker.

i'm pretty sure Meldrick Taylor would beat PBF at 140 and Whitaker beats PBF at all weights he's fought at.
