Pacquiao bulldozed an Oscar De La Hoya there to beat.
But Mayweather even though people thought the weight would be an issue.
it had NOTHING to do with him, outboxing, outdefensing and out timing Marquez.
Marquez landed about 75 punches against Floyd and Floyd landed at nearly 60 percent of all his punches and against a guy like Marquez thats impressive. Floyd did not "impose his weight" on Marquez he just beat him.
Floyds weight had nothing to do with the fact Marquez couldn't hit him and couldn't figure him out and couldn't dissect him. So Floyd's win is much more impressive imo.
Perhaps you need to watch it again. Floyd was very confident about his size advantage and uses it. He lunges when he throws his left hook and it has his weight behind it. He also reminded me of Roberto Duran the way he used his body and shoulders in close. At one point he did this so hard it looked like Marquez was thrown back 4 or 5 feet.
This is a working link even though you can read it.

What's impressive about this fight is Marquez went up two weight divisions and Mayweather weighed at least 10lbs to who knows maybe 20lbs more in the ring and got though it without being knocked out. What gets me is the commission didn't bother to force Mayweather to step on the scales. But that is just wishful thinking that they'd be a little more concerned about Marquez's safety.
