It seemed that SKY tv did not want the casual fans to know that JMM was a small hand picked fighter by FM.

Even the pundits in the studio after the fight did not even touch on the subject even after watching Floyd dodge the issue when being interviewed.

I was thinking the same, they were all sitting silently about that fact like Muppet's.

I think that Jim Watt's style has changed considerably since he was doing his bit on terestrial TV. He seemed to be a fight fan first and foremost and commented on both fighters and was even in his praise and criticism.

Maybe he is working more to a script these days to push a preferred fighter for a network, I don't really know. Could also be who he is paired with , that may make a difference, he always worked well with old Reggie and they would have a bit of bickering but the commentary was never really biased.

Ian Darke and Watt are not my favourites. I had to turn the sound down after round 1. A lot of slurpy slurpy stuff.

Other issues I have of Sky commentators are the fact that they actually believe Jim Watt's score card is gospel and if the referee or judges differ from his opinion it is unbelievable!

Also, while I'm whinging, a lot of the under card bouts they put on Friday fight night are even better than Hagler Hearnes according to them.

I don't mind them trying to sell their product, but honesty isn't a bad thing. Just say it how it is guys. Just because PBF came down to your studios and signed your autograph books, doesn't mean you have to get tongue busy on his arse.

Used to love it when Ian Dark and Glen McClory were doing the ringside commentary.

IMO Jim Watt would be much better in the studio because he knows his boxing its just he talks to much bollocks.

where the hell was ian darke for this one? the best caller of a boxing contest this country has hands down and is really good at summing up the feelings of a fight.

The other guy just seems to go through the motions and tells you what you can already blatantly see. I like Watt as he can bring excitement to the most boring of contests but they really need to stop giving him a scorecard to work with as most times he hasnt a clue how to score a contest.

Wish they let mcclory call more fights as he used to be brilliant doing the lewis fights many years back
    one dangerous horrible bloke
