...OK if Shane isn't a big draw then why would Floyd never even entertain the idea of fighting Miguel Cotto a guy who only lost because his opponent cheated OR Paul Williams a guy who avenged his only loss.

You know why? Those guys are BIG and they are in their primes AND they are in a weight class that is comfortable to them and that they are proven in.

Floyd is an awesome boxer but he HAS NEVER UNIFIED OR ATTEMPTED TO UNIFY ANY DIVISION HE HAS EVER FOUGHT IN. That being 100% the case there have been AT LEAST 3 fighters per division that Floyd has either not fought, they have ducked him, or FLOYD ducked them and it is definently one of the three. Sure I can understand why Floyd wouldn't want to waste his time fighting Selcuk Aydin or Ashley Theophane....but why not someone like Cotto, Williams, Berto, etc.....I personally think Miguel Cotto is just as big of a draw as anyone else at welterweight these days so why not fight him Because he's not EASY money like Marquez was.....especially when Floyd is so fucking unsportsmanlike to make the God damned weight.

There was a REASON that was supposed to be a catch weight fight and everyone saw it by the end of the night. I'm not saying 2 pounds made all the difference but Floyd didn't even go to the sauna to sweat it out to be a good sport that is the cheapest shit and very unprofessional.

The weight made a big difference....If it was not a difference he would have made it....When a guy rather lose $600,000 then make the agreed weight it is because he knows it will be a factor to him one way or another....IF Floyd knows it would not make a difference then it lowers his self class even more by just being as ass and not making his weight....I guess he is not a man of his word......

Floyd for all his talent as a positive his attitude and his way of thinking equal the talent but in an opposite way....

He has shown to be low class and like you said he has never cleaned out a division by fighting the best 3 guys in each division....

I had respect for Floyd at one time but for all his actions his talent means squat

I gotta disagree. Mayweather didn't out muscle juan. Or physically overpower him in any way. He outboxed him plain and simple. He didn't lean on juan, wear him out any of that, actually juan barely got a chance to even touch the guy. They could have battled this fight out on x box and the outcome would have been the same. When floyd fought oscar who was bigger no one cried a damn tear. Same for oscar and steve forbes, clottey and just about everyone etc....But i could be wrong and that's more reason floyd shouldn't waste our time with pac or any other small guy. Let's see he fights a guy bigger no credit (except for pac then it was the greatest victory ever) fights a smaller guy no credit. Floyd could beat himself and people would still cry afterward. If marquez would have won, you wouldn't have heard any of this. It would be nice to see a guy just loose for once.....shake hands get back the gym and get better.
