Look at the post fight interview, Max Kellerman is the same height as Shane Mosley, look how much taller he is than Mayweather. That's how tall the average welterweight is 5'9ish, and Mayweather isn't truely 5'8, He was barely taller than Hatton who is listed at 5'6 1/2.

If you read the ring magazine they put out for the fight, Shane MOsley states when they played basketball that Mayweather couldn't rebound against him because Shane was bigger and stronger.

Call Mayweather a natural WW if you want, but he will be outweighed by a good 5-10 pounds by the likes of Mosley, Margarito, Cotto, Berto, etc. He might not mind fighting at the weight, but if he is a natural welterweight, he is a very, very small welterweight who is smaller than many JWW.

Also the fact that Mayweather doesn't need to worry about what he eats, the fact he doesn't cut weight at all to make 147, and the fact he had to build up his body to fight at WW means that he is a smaller guy moving, and he always will be. He can add more muscle onto his frame, but his frame is still naturally not a WW frame. So yes he will continue to fight at WW, but in terms of size he is way smaller than Cotto or Mosley and you will see that should they ever fight.
Floyd weighed 150 against oscar...and on the scales he was heavier than judah. It's possible that floyd weighed around 155-160 against marquez.

His legs were bigger? that's funny...do you know how much power comes from your legs? Marquez arms are shorter and he put on muscle to jump two weight classes of course the diameter of his bicep will be bulky compared to a leaned natural welter. That's why JMM looked so slow and bulky because he was. Why would the "money" man who admittedly says..."I fight for money, not bragging rights", easily concede 600k if he could have made 144? I'll tell you the same as everyone else has...

It's because now he's a true welter.
