Nope. I didnt see PBF hurt 1 time in the fight either. Hatton didnt have anything for PBF and never will EVER. I think PBF also out landed him every round hatton hardly landed shit.

Here's my 2 yen on it. I understand you bringing this fight up now because it has gotten a lot of play lately.

Issue # 1 Ref: I believe that had Hatton been allowed to hold and hit, he would have got elbows in the face and forearms to the neck as a deterrent and as the fight wore on it would have had significant impact as far as both cuts and breathing go. PBF had a plan to deal with this specifically so I don't believe the fight would have ended any differently really.

Issue # 2 Hurting PBF: Watch round one again Hatton clearly knocked PBF off balance, as for him being hurt before. Augustus, Judah and Corley all hurt (only momentarily) PBF more than Hatton did at any point in that fight.

Issue # 3 Tactics: Overall the argument that Hatton had excellent tactics and footwork is flawed because Hatton did the exact same thing he does in every fight, tactics implies a plan B, an adjustment or a defined strategy unique to a certain situation. I remember thinking Hatton was doing well in the early rounds, but watching it back in Slow-mo you can clearly see PBF was getting the better of almost every round.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Sam fucking Girard hurt Mayweather worse than Hatton did.

and if i had the right seven numbers i would have won the lottery. So it was the ref, or was it the lights, popcorn on the floor on the way to ring, he lost his lucky kermit the frog shirt before the fight, i also heard it was because the beer they served his fans was the wrong temp and caused the singing of the crowd to be a tad off key so he couldn't avoid floyd's punches...blah blah blah. Floyd is not boxing, hatton has fought multiple times since, let it rest guys. There is more to boxing than beating mayweather.

Hatton was simply not in the same class as Mayweather. If they fought 100 times with 100 different refs, Hatton would go 0-100. That's just the way it is.
