Mayweather vs Manny

I give manny the same chance i give the rest of them...pretty much none, in a back and forth slugfest it might be a little entertaining but that would never happen and sadly manny would have just as much trouble hitting floyd as juan did, then mix in the lunging and what not, a bunch of hype and 24/7's later floyd outboxes him just as easy.

No no no my friend. Manny Pacquiao brings something to the table that Marquez could not and thats greasy fast speed (easily compared to Mayweathers)! Pacquiao is much harder to hit than Marquez and he doesnt get knocked down like Marquez, so exactly where do you pull this Mayweather easily beating Pacquiao scenario from, your butt? Did I mention Pacquiao's knockout power?

I may agree that from what the eye see's Pac is faster than Mayweather.. But effective speed? No... Mayweather is hands down the best defensive fighter in the business today.. Because of his speed AND skill of not getting hit.. You look at Pac's speed against DLH and it almost seems like, who the hell could see or stop those punches hitting them.... But go and watch a few mayweather fights and you see, it doesn't matter how fast or what someone is trying to do, Mayweather is unhittable.. And when you do catch him, it's usually on the gloves, or he's moving away from the punch so it's taking a tonne of sting off it...

I agree Pac if fast, but to beat Mayweather I beleive you need to be a big solid brute... Hatton had the perfect recipe, just he needed to be bigger and stronger and better head movement... Speed doesn't beat Mayweather, Boxing doesn't beat Mayweather.. Knockout power doesn't beat Mayweather...

Pac would just be bringing another style of boxing/fighting/attributes that Mayweather will make look redundent..

Back when I wanted to see Mayweather go down every fight, I would analyze his opponent and find SOME reason why they have a better shot at beating him than the last guy. Every time i'd find one new attribute that Floyd hasn't faced before.i
And without fail Mayweather would show that I was a fool for even thinking that attribute would make any difference.
Then the next guy comes along and logically there is reason to think they'll do better...

I maintain Hatton had the Style and aggressiveness to beat Floyd, but just wasn't complete or strong enough in enough other area's to win through the 12 rounds... To beat Floyd you need to get ugly...


I'd love to see Pac beat Floyd in a dazzling display of superiour speed, timing, and power,,,,, but you go back and watch all Mayweathers previous fights and see how stupid of an image that is... And if Pac isn't going to beat him that way, how will he beat him??

If Luis Jose Castillo did beat Mayweather once (and got robbed), Pacman has some chances... if he throws combos like never before and go with relentless aggression, he has his chances... not saying he'll make it, but he has his chances. My big question tough is: at which weight will they fight? That will be a huge part of the deal.
