To be honest I just do see the point in him dropping back to this level so soon after the Mcdermott fight to knock him out in probably 1 or 2 rounds, he should be in the gym getting better improving his fitness and skills.

didnt tyson fury manage to punch himself in the face once?
thats about all i know about him
Fury was on Talksport this week saying how 'pleased' he was that the McDermott fight was being forced to a re-match. He said 'I'm pleased because now I can knock him out!'
Alright then Tyson
I'm a Manc and would like nothing more than a local good heavy make his mark on the world scene!
Fury however is (as far as I have seen of him) all hype and very little substance! As somebody else said earlier, go follow the Klitsch's for a while and see what it means to be in shape!
Calling McDermott a 'McMuffin' was a little like the pot calling the kettle!
Still very young and already twice as much fat on him as the guys at the top of his game (I take it you do want to fight the Klits et al Tyson!??)
He should keep his trap shut, stay off SSN and radio shows, ask Boxing News NOT to put him on the cover and concentrate on getting fight fit!
Having said that however, he will have 6!! fights before the McDermott rematch and McDermott ducked him for a spot on the Froch undercard!
I think Tyson is getting a lot of stick he is 21 and this will be his 9th fight in 9 month he has fought for and won the english title over 10 rounds at quite a fast pace against John McDermott who some think to have beaten Danny Williams twice back to back or a very close defeat. yes at times he looked rubbish against Mcdermott but sometimes looked very good he is young and eager i still like him just hope he performs well in the rematch he just needs to get in and stay in shape. yet look at Danny Williams up and down in weight getting stick from all angles yet he beat Mike Tyson and got a shot against Klitschko for the WBC title going 8 rounds.
He goes on about been the next big thing in boxing i think he will be the next big thing to hit the canvas. He carnt even be arsed to stay in shape just happy to pad out his record fighter bums.
I am new to this forum so don't know what can and can't be said so I will leave it at...
Please!!!!?Could Williams have handled Tyson in his pomp? Could he fu*k!!
The best point you made in that post was 'he just needs to get in and stay in shape'
That is his problem!! At 21 was Williams toned?
Yes
At 21 did Williams have a bang on him?
Yes
Can the same be said of Tyson Fury?
IMO No!
Spot on! Haye mk2
Lets see if he can go half as far as motormouth before we talk about him being a decent prospect!
He has fought nobody! Was taught a tough lesson by McDermott, I think he will win the rematch but for him to go on national radio and say he is happy for a rematch as he 'had an off-night' and he will ko him next time is just stupid (Haye must be his advisor)
I want him to do well, but I have never taken to mouthy fighters who cant cash the cheques their gob is spending
