Good for you brother.. Never to old to start a boxing workout routine . Boxing is a great workout, If you have a nice boxing gym around I recommend doing that, go to the front desk tell them your goals and they can help you out. If not get some boxing workout DVD’s from Everlast they have beginner intermediate and advanced. Get a good heavy bag with a spring system hang it in the garage.. Get some sparring gloves with the loop closure system I like them better then bag gloves. , and some gel wraps, get a speed bag and double end bag. And a jump rope .. Watch those videos learn to through punches correctly, don’t get bad habits, technique is everything in boxing. And you can do it right from home . …

And yes and in no time you will have the ability to kick anyone’s average ass! Because you will have the technique to land a punch that matters . Most regular folk don’t through punches correctly thus they lack power. And are usually very wide you can see them coming a mile away . But don’t go out and start troubles, with this new confidence you will find it easier to walk away from a situation rather then fight it out on the streets. Because in your mind you know if it comes to that it’s a forgone conclusion. Your going to kick their ass.

The best of luck to you!
