I'm going to Tua/ Cameron tomorrow! Suddenly everyone over here is an expert when 99% of them couldn't name 5 p4p guys!!!

Its a good boost for the sport over here, but amazing that 2 bums (imo, Tua hasn't fought in 2 years & Cameron's never beaten anyone) can create the biggest fight over here ever!

Plus there's no free to air T.V., & they were charging $145 to the private function for the weight in. When the had a free stream showing it in the Zone Bar of the Hamilton Casino.

It just pisses me of that this fight gets so much coverage here but any other time you never hear a peep from the media about the game!

Thats pretty cool chief.Have a great night at the fights.Sounds like it has the attention of the country.Dont know much at all about Cameron aside from record and being ko'd by Friday Ahunanya-huh (isn't he the guy who "broke" Tysons back ) but two yrs out for Tua is big.Sounding like a busted record here but WTF.....with the shite lack of solid competition in the heavy division, why is this man NOT in the heat of the mix and remaining active

Those reports don't talk about Tua hitting Cameron twice when he was on the canvas do they?

The ref was trying to call for time to give Cameron time to recover but the bell for the round rang so he just sent Cameron to the corner with no recovery time, major botch on the ref's part. But I thought if you hit a downed opponent it was an instant DQ. Tua landed two.

Cameron wasn't gonna win but still.

Both fighters fought hard and did themselves proud. David Tua looked pretty sharp, he was slipping as well as he has before and looked like a seasoned fighter. David's exciting, full of class, and guys like him are good for boxing.

Come on give Tua a break against Lennox, the guy came in with a foot high flat top and was still shorter than Lewis.

Yes he did hit him twice while he was down. It wasn't easy for the ref to see i think but it didn't really have an impact on the outcome and i'd hate to see cameron given the win just for that. I know others have lost that way this year but it's not a great way to win and it leaves the fans feeling ripped off i would think.. Tua was brutal though and he hit cameron with some big shots, hope he's ok. On a better note on the under card good 'ol Colin Wilson beat Hopoate by KO. Go THE OLD GUYS!!!!

Hey Galaxy how was it at the event?

Mate I just got back this afternoon! It was great! Ref should have stopped it at the end of the 1st but could seem to work out if the bell had rung or not...

Cameron looked good in the opening seconds boxing well keeping Tua at bay with the jab, but he just didn't have the chin to back it up!!! The 1st shot Tua landed seemed to hurt him & then it was all over. Cameron looked like an amateur! He should have been clinching & tying Tua up (especially once he was in danger, but he had no idea what to do!!! I remember yelling grab him, grab him but it was just a mis-match!!!

The 1st fight Heremaia/ LoPorto was exciting with LoPorto being dropped twice in the 1st, then coming back against as Heremaia tired. They both let it all fly in the last round, with both landing insane bombs

And seeing John '2 thumbs up' Hopoate get taken out was fun, my son was laughing at Wilson's record, but I told him he's got a lot of experience & anyone with a jab is going to give Hoppa hell!
Being Tongan myself the guy was already an insult to us from his league days & his poking around but geez the dudes a chump!
