Im happy for him. That Irish chap had the ref and the crowd on his side. He was getting away with headbutts and rough stuff. Audley got angry and knocked that b**ch spark out !!

    He silenced the crowd too

I couldn't disagree more! Barrett is a stepped-up cruiserweight and it was obvious! Harrison simply could not deal with him or his pace!

(I'm bottom of my boxing prediction league on another forum which has some very knowledgeable fight fans, so I don't profess to be some master tactician) BUT!!!!!

I said after the 2 semis, Barrett will trouble Fraudley, yet Barrett was always likely to be caught by a left!

Infact, I'm going to go there now and copy my post! (See below, I knew what it took for Fraudly to beat the better fighter Barrett!)

It's not often I call a fight so correctly in terms of exactly what will/wont beat a guy, so please allow me this one!

This was my take in the semis when Fraudley/Audrey went down

First off, well done to FRAUDLEY HARRISON You won the gig on the night. However in my opinion, far and away the most exciting fighter of the night was Coleman Barrett!

I am more than willing to admit that I knew very little about him before BN landed on my doorstep this morning!

I read the preview for prizefighter, and then came across him in 'between rounds' in BN (for non-UK folks, BN= Boxing News, a quite brilliant wkly boxing mag! I advise taking-out a subscription!) between the rounds is the old format of 'we have 20 or so quick-fire questions'

He came across as a thoroughly nice family guy in his questions, so I had my fingers crossed for him tonight!

I need'nt have worried though, he was quite magnificent in his fights tonight!

Unfortunately, Harrisons weight for once worked in his favour! Barrett was pasting him all over but one big jab from 'the one big pussy-cat' caught Coleman and it hurt! I think the ref was a little bit hasty in calling it off, especially as Barrett was winning the fight up to that point!

I will certainly be keeping my eye out for the next Barrett fight, this guy is RAPID for a heavy!

Sorry but how was Barret the most exciting? He scraped through his two qualifiers, just barely edging Scott Gammer and then labouring to a win over unheralded Carl Baker. (Danny Williams is shot to bits)

Harrison put down every opponent he fought and ko'd two of them, including Barret inside two rounds.

If he was anybody other than Audley everyone would be saying he did great.

Some pretty poor standard of boxing, but fair play to Audley. He did the business, but imo he was pretty much head and shoulders above the rest of the competition once Danny Williams went out.

Well done to you lot who called it right!

Audley the best 3 round fighter in the world. Danny blows it again. Whats new?

The way Barrett went down was like one of those ridiculous ones in Fight Night.

Oh shut the fuck up Watt, give him credit like you give it to Hatton or Khan for the slightest little success.
