Braylon Edwards will be fine in New York and that's huge for them. It was a lot to give up though to not at least get something else in return. I don't like the fact that they gave up Jason Trusnik, I guarantee that was Eric Mangini getting one over on a WR hungry GM in New York whoever that is. Trusnik is a top 5 valuable ST player in the league, he is a difference maker and that's the type of move that could completely turn around the kick/punt coverage.
I think if you give up Trusnik, who is a difference maker (when healthy) with a very small price tag, then at least try to keep 1 of the 2 draft picks. That's probably nitpicking but don't you think that could be a little short sighted? Trusnik definitely meant more to the Jets ST then Stuckey did to the Jets offense. Edwards is a clear upgrade there and Mark Sanchez isn't a stupid guy, he played at USC he knows how to find his weapons that was his whole career at USC.
That's what jumped out at me, Trusnik is a good player who would have a legit shot to start ILB for any team who runs the 3-4. The 49ers almost traded for him on draft day this year but I forget what the sticking point was, it was for a midround pick I think we traded it to someone else.
It's all good for Cleveland until that wideout with the funny last name gets hurt. I think they call him Massacre or something.
Anyway, how many great wideouts have The Browns wasted the last 10 years?
Dennis Northcutt
Andre Davis
Derrick Alexander
Quincy Morgan <--- personal fav
Kevin Johnson
I nearly posted the same thing the other day, that was great! The Browns one took me a minute. Well it took me a minute to figure out that was the Browns. The Tampa Bay one made me laugh the most that was the most clever of them all. The Rams one also![]()
I'm not sure I quite get the Jets one![]()
I noticed that I was just hoping it wasn't something so plainly uninspired, oh well. The other ones were funny, I don't get how he expected to get laughs with that one. Jets defense has been great early.
Haha thats funny.
As far as Braylon Edwards go I think he is going to be just fine with the Jets especially with crothery (sp) you cant double them both all the time. But like Diane said if he can't hold onto the ball in NY the media is gonna tear him apart even more than in cleveland.
Does anyone recall the Monday Night Football game where Napolean McCallum broke his leg? That is one of the nastiest thing I have seen live that wasn't an expected part of the fun.
I showed a friend that clip hailed as "The sickest thing I have ever seen this afternoon" by Bilbo.
Anyway, we started talking about NFL hits and then about injuries.
The McCallum break was horrible! I am going to search for a video of it, but the last time I checked around (a few years back)it was nowhere to be found.
LOL Instant!
Of course he was playing those filthy cheaters that Amat and Mick love so...

Had never seen that, wow disgusting that is definitely one of the worst there are some worse though, particulary this one. That's Tyrone Prothro who also had imo THE best football catch of all time.

I can't find a video of it but Jason Kendall suffered a HORRIBLE ankle injury where his bone was sticking out the side of the sock. I remember they showed it on ESPN and said, "OK, we're only showing this once so if you're interested pay attention" or something like that and it was BAD.
Most sports that require twisting and contact between players will have these kinds of injuries from time to time, just look at David Busst's injury in "soccer".
It tells a lot about a sport how they rally around the guys who are crippled, or at minimum retired by these kinds of injuries.
The Cowboys look like a fucking sinking ship.
Proverbial badly coached team, stupid penalties, fumbled snaps, on and on.
