I cant wait for the fights.....I think this is a pick em fight. I think Froch is more durable but Dirrell has the edge in speed and movement......I dont really have a favorite......

I do think it is a little funny how cocky froch is being......he was losing the fight with Taylor and was floored good in that fight........

I am actually more looking forward to the Abraham/Taylor fight. I think Arthur is good but hasnt fought anyone the calibur of Taylor. If he can beat Taylor convincingly I would favor him to win the whole tournament......

Froch's last two fights have been really hard. Jermain Taylor has said that the only reason Froch beat him was because he didn't train. Now I know boxers have excuses after a defeat or a poor performance but Taylor probably didn't train as hard for the Froch fight as he did in his fights with Hopkins. So if a faded ex-champ can take him to hell and back...what can a young fresh unbeaten olympic medalist do ?

I think this a either or fight. By that I mean I don't think it will be close either Direll will totally outclass Froch, outbox him and stop him. Or Froch will walk through him with ease and show that Dirrell doesn't deserve his place in the tournament.

I'll admit I haven't seen much of Dirrel, I've heard he's quick so he'll probably give Carl a few problems but from what I've heard he has a relativly weak resume compared to Froch... he's never had to stand infront of him before.

I think most Americans have decided that Froch is a slow plodder... which I can understand if the most they've seen of him ws his last fight. He's not exactly slick but the speed and mobility difference may not be as big as everybody thinks.

Like I said, I'd have to see more of Dirrel to say 100% but based off what I've seen of Froch and the little I've seen of Dirrel and their resume and styles etc I'm going to say that a likely outcome is that Froch outlasts him and is simply too strong.

I think it should be a good fight...

Right... watching Some more of Dirrel... from what I've seen so far he's not beating Froch.

Dirrell's the fastest guy in boxing north of 147 probably and he's got some skills but he can look a bit harried under pressure and I'm not totally sure about his stamina or chin. I've said this before, bit of a broken record, but I'm not sure what will happen, I could see Dirrell actually dominate Froch, I could see him have a good start but fade and get KO'd or maybe he just totally isn't ready for this kind of stage mentally.

Never seen Dirrell but hope Carl does a number on him. He does sound like he will Carl nightmares early on but hopefully Froch will catch him and not leave it so late like he did with Taylor.

I thought Dirrell had an excellent chance in this fight based on his showing against Oganov.

But having seen his fights with Rocha, Stevens and Hanshaw the man has serious chin concerns. I think it will be an early night for Dirrell.

If Dirrell has the chin to match his handspeed then we have a superstar on our hands. I just don't like how he handles pressure. (From lesser fighters than Froch)

I was checking out fightnews, and there was a article with Froch calling Dirrell gaunt. Froch needs to look in a mirror once in awhile. He is saying Direll's face looks sucked in.....but the pictures are exactly opposite, dirrell looks fine and Froch's cheekbones are sticking out and his eyes are sucked in.
