    The winner of Adamek/Golota probably.

I have no idea who he'll fight next if not Mosley or people that have fights lined up his Welterweight opponent list has dwindled to Selcuk Aydin and Isaac Hlatshwayo, neither one is appealing by financial standards and it appears Floyd can't make 140 anymore so possibly someone at 154.....Cory Spinks maybe?
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Malignaggi at a catchweight of 145 pounds obviously. Malignaggi is just off of a controversial loss, so he is an ideal Mayweather opponent IMO.

He'll fight the Pacquiao/Cotto winner, there will be too much money in that fight regardless of who it is to not do it. Trust that if Cotto destroys Pacquiao, he will become a star.

Berto is fighting Mosley in January anyway. The winner of that fight will fight the Mayweather-Pacquiao/Cotto winner.

I think this is just tactical. But I think he really does detest Mosley and will not let him in. Heck, nobody is letting Mosley in. Cotto declined a rematch, Pac refused even after Mosley conceded to everything even resorting to begging at Roach's gym, and PBF says no. But PBF will fight the winner of Pac/Cotto and if Pac wins then he knows the negotiations may be be tougher than the fight. So he must bluff that he doesn't need the fight and balk at walking away from possibly a 2+ million PPV drawing fight. Nobody wants that and the powers that be must use every leverage tool they have to get the biggest piece of pie they can from the biggest fight in boxing.

I think Pac might be willing to fight Mosley if he beats Cotto... PBF is an idiot for saying that Mosley had his shot 10 years ago and passed it up so he's not going to fight him now..

This is why I love the Mexican fighters... I love it when post fight interviews have an interviewer asking them what fights they really want or don't want, and all the fighters say is "I'm a fighter, I just train hard, and i'll fight anyone. I leave that up to management, but i'm ready to fight anyone"... Margarito, Cotto, Pac, and many others have that attitude.. None of this, oh he dissed me 10 years ago so I aint giving him nothing now..

Well I partly hope Floyd doesn't even end up with a fight..I would like the winner out of Pac/Cotto to deny Floyd, which is what Floyd wants anyway, because he said he doesn't want to wait,,, then I want them to line up Mosley after his win in January.... Leave Floyd out in the cold for being such a b!tch about everything..

If that's the case, then Mosley should be left out for being a bitch 10 years ago (Even tho Shane ducked Floyd more times that that & more recently than that)

If I needed a guy to make the fight & he refused for whatever reason, i'm certainly not going to take a pay cut (a Pac or Cotto fight would get more $) just to fight him now that he needs me.

Floyd has every right to turn Shane away, especially after the disrespectful & unprofessional way Shane went about asking for the fight.

When I read your post I laughed for like a minute straight! Mallinaggi Dude seriously?? Mallinaggi? Whether he won or not against Diaz doesnt matter, Malli freakin naggi? He's beaten no notable fighter his entire career, couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper sack and you want him to go agaisn't arguably the best fighter in the world?? Oh And I can just see Mayweather wanting to fight such a PPV draw like Mallinaggi!

lol at levi#1BoxingFan, ha what a moron

Anyway I believe Floyd's next fight will be against Miguel Cotto in the spring.

I know most seem to think Cotto is practically a gimme for Manny Pacquaio but I honestly believe he will batter the living shit out of him and finish him inside the distance.

For me Cotto wins inside 8 maybe inside 4 if he lands early.

I think Miguel will look awesome and then everyone will be chomping at the bit for a Cotto Mayweather fight.

Mayweather will shit his pants, no way would he fight a real dangerous welter. Especially if he batters Pac like you state. the closer the fight and the more they take out of each other will give Floyd the courage to take the fight.

So let me get this straight Bilbo.... you say Cotto beats Pacquiao inside 4 rounds and im the moron...... riiiiight! Tell me oh ignorant one of the shire, whens the last time you even saw Pacquiao knocked down? What your doing is called wishful thinking. It will be competitive, but to say Cotto stops Pacquiao in 4 rounds is the most ubsurd thing ive ever heard. Cotto is great but he didn't even stop jennings in 4 rounds and you expect him to KO the greatest fighter in the world under 4. At least my mistake was an honest one, you just lack common sense or a brain for that matter!

I'm watching again Cotto's fights and the more I watch his fights again and again, the more convinced I am that Pac is in dangerous waters.

Cotto is an excellent counterpuncher, has power, bigger than Pac, footspeed is better than average ( better than Mosley), and more importantly, an intelligent fighter who could change stance. Whew.

I'm afraid Bilbo is right. Cotto could win inside 4 if Pac underestimate him.

You should have laughed as it was meant to be funny.

I was taking the mickey out of Mayweather's propensity to hand pick. Like Bilbo has said, Mayweather has a quality resume, but he also has his share of questionable fights. Fighting Judah on the back of a loss and only then going on to face the almighty Baldmomir, fighting a 135 pounder in a WW fight and who exactly did Mayweather fight at JWW?

The man has skills, but that is why I want to see him close his mouth and actually fight the opponents people want him to.
