There's been reports of that since the Medina fight, but he's kept fighting 'opponents'. So until things turn around it's gonna stay looking like he's just going for easy marks. Or Arum is, which is far more likely.

I think that's more cuz of Caballero's doing. He pretty much punked Lopez into taking the fight
