...I'm sorry Memphis, I thought when Haye fought Monte Barrett it was a big deal? I thought it gave the man credibility in the division....that's what all the David Haye fans said and that's basically what Steve Bunce said.
Maybe I misremembered, but I do think someone wanted to chalk up Haye's win over Barrett as SOMETHING instead of as a tune up...perhaps it was leftylee
Talk about rotund. He weighed over 270 and he's only 6'2!!!! Solis made Arreola look like he was in shape.
I thought as soon as I seen the title there would be something referrering to David Haye but I didn't think it would be Lyle to start it up. Shame on you.![]()
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
It does just go to show though that all this hooplah is being made of a guy who's fought only Monte Barret in the heavyweight division. Remember it was HAYE who said that he would be fighting a "top 10" heavyweight when it's obvious Barret isn't even a top 20 heavyweight. Haye just annoys the fuck out of me and I do think his skills are overrated.
Don't get put out with me Memphis, I'm just trying to remind everyone of the grandure of David Haye. His fans are impressed with him, sure he's basically taken 2009 off and wasted the time of the Klitschko Brothers...but look at all of his glorious accomplishments![]()
Anything remotely to do with Haye (sometimes not even at all) and you're all over it like a cheap suit.
Just admit it, move on...
We'll help you... keep this up and we're going to end up holding an intervention for you.![]()
Adam, I'm just trying to get you Haye fans ready for what is going to happen to the guy. I'm looking out for your feelings, I have ONLY your best intrests in mind.
...also I am trying to figure out what this win means for Solis as opposed to what a win vs Monte Barrett meant for David Haye (IMMEDIATE title shot).
