Cant see Haye loosing this Veluev looks old and If grandad Hoylfield and smaller Chagev can outbox him cant see much problems Haye doing a similar job.

Despite what the WBA (and haye's camp because they want to build Valuev up) will tell you, Valuev was just beaten by a 45 year old boxer who is shorter and lighter than Haye.
That of course doesn't mean that Haye will DEFINITELY win, but I wouldn't be too concerned.![]()
I think the danger for Haye in this fight is that he will be tring to hard to look good and get the KO.
If he exhausts himself in the first half of the fight then he may struggle with the size and weight of Valuve in the 2nd half.
Haye should just try and get the win by any means and if he can KO the Russian bear all the better.
Balls
Holyfield is 6'3 (same height as Haye) and doesn't just try to beat someone 1 punch at a time. He's been a hard worker his whole career and has NEVER been easy to beat.
As for Haye looking silly, I don't think you have to worry about that, if he doesn't look silly to you already he's NEVER going to look silly to you.
Although Haye has this bravado about him and although he seems to be in fine shape, I just can't help thinking that he's mentally fragile. I don't think he's retarded or anything, I just think when the going gets tough Haye won't like it. Haye seems to me to be a guy who likes the easy road instead of the hard one, he wants to joke around and lob one huge punch in at a time and pose for the cameras and I just don't think he's talented enough to do that....and before anyone calls me a hater, there are a TON of guys not talented enough to do that.
Haye may very well beat Valuev but I do not forsee him doing it in incredible fashion or anything....not to the point where I would fear either Klitschko brother fighting him. It's more than likely that Haye will have a rough go of it, he's not a tested power puncher at heavyweight, he's never taken much punishment at heavyweight, he's never shared the ring with someone as big as Valuev before OR (and this is surprising) someone who could hit as hard as Valuev. Valuev doesn't usually blast people out of the ring, but when he lands it's going to not be fun for David and I wouldn't be shocked at all if Haye got KO'd.
I hate on Haye a whole bunch, mainly because the bastard deserves it, but I'm being very realistic here. Haye is untested at heavyweight, he's smallish for a heavyweight, he relies on 1 power punch at a time, he has a style which can EASILY be stymied with the jab, and his chin was God awful at cruiserweight (it may or may not have improved). Haye might beat Valuev but win or lose I think Haye is going to have one of those "borefests" he enjoys talking about so much
Haye will win this, Valuev will put a better performance than he did against Holyfield but I can see him rattled by Hayes power and even if Haye does not stop him, I see Haye outpointing him.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
...the fight is in Germany, although I doubt we'll see a repeat of the Holyfield fight, I wouldn't put it past Germany OR Houston, Texas.
I think Haye will land his bombs, see they have little to no effect on the big man when landed 1 at a time. Then he'll be backed off with the jab, maybe caught with an uppercut or sweeping right cross and have to clinch. Haye will have to fight the rest of the fight inside out, it's the only smart way to fight Valuev or either Klitschko. Haye will have to initiate the clinch, initiate the break, flurry and then either clinch again or move away and get set to repeat the process.
Whether Haye knows it or not he is in for an ugly fight, win or lose. He might blame ring rust or previous injuries or even that he's still getting used to the weight, or he'll more than likely just blame Valuev.
Haye may blast every other heavyweight about either fighting sloppy or boring, but in a division where EVERY SINGLE PUNCH MATTERS eventually he's going to learn that his current style isn't suited for the heavyweights and he will have to adapt.
I've said it all along. I've a bad feeling about this fight.
I hope he wins so we can finaly see the Haye Klitscho fight.
I actually think Haye is quite funny. Anyone see him on any of his times on soccer AM? Quite quick witted.
