I give Dirrell a decent shot to at least be competative and cause a few problems... but reading some of the comments etc, if Frosh SMASHES Dirrell (which is VERY possible) then it's going to be Calzaghe-Lacy all over again...

To be fair aside this one person, nobody else has said Dirrell will destroy Froch (at least to my knowledge).
The standard American line on this one is that Dirrell needs to move because he has the ability to outbox Froch pretty readily, BUT if he trades he loses, if he gasses he loses, if it's close he loses.
Don't think th Lacy standard applies here.

...destroy might be way way too strong of a statement. But i do belive he will win in a boring but yet decisive way. Dude is just way too slow, and although he might be able to hit a little, it won't matter cause he will find how hard it is to hit a running rabbit. I pick direll but not really a fan of his after the curtis stevens thing. One thing i will say for him is that his movements and the way he switches from right to lefty is seamless and confusing.

I don't doubt his stamina but if he is taking shots here and there he is gonna slow down. Froch looks clumsy as fuck when he throws sometimes but there is some proper sting in his power punches. I give Froch about 60-65% chance of pulling it off. I still think he is overconfident coming into this tourney but we will see whats what when it goes on.

The idea that Dirrell, who hasn't DESTROYED anyone, is going to destroy someone who has gone twelve and won against Pascal and Taylor is slightly amiss i'm afraid. I think Dirrell is gonna make him look silly for a while, but for twelve rounds, i doubt it........

The only way I see Dirrell winning is by a decision. And the only way he's doing that is by running on the outside pot shoting Froch. Even then he'll find that hard to do with 10k Froch fans screaming at him to engage, his ego wont allow it.
My only concern is that I've already heard Froch say he'll come into his own by the mid rounds, it's as if he's already given Dirrell the early rounds. Hopefully he isn't just relying on grinding him down in the later stages like he luckily did against JT.
Froch needs to go in and take him to war early on, not let Dirrell settle into a rythum picking him off all night long...
