Froch is the the least technically sound guy in the who damn tourney, and a dirty bastard at that, he's taylor made for Abraham and i see Abraham easily catching him early coming in with wild shots and getting put down and out by the 4th or 5th round, sorry but the Dirrelll/Froch fight ruined the tourney for me, horribly ugly fight between a chicken shit who preferred to hug than to use his superior speed and skill and actually box his man, and a dirty fucker in Froch, and the final nail in the coffin was the horrible hometown decision and Froch's lame comments at the end of the fight, with the robbery it just goes to show how corrupt boxing is, the whole concept of the tournament was a great idea but they pretty much fucked it up by pitting the fights in certain fighters hometowns (Ward, Froch, Abraham), IMO it would have been better to be a world tour type thing and fight in completely neutral grounds and try to avoid the type of bullshit that happened last night

Bizarrely I thought Taylor in some ways looked better than against Froch, I certainly didn't see any stamina issues, more a case of Abraham coming into it & his power being a big factor. That punch would have KO'd any fighter in this tourney. If he is physically able to continue (ie cleared by the docs) then I would like to see him still in it. I thought the point deduction against him was a bit harsh. But, I don't believe anyone can help but admire Arthur Abraham, he's heart, skill & power personified. With so little time to go, he must have known it was his fight & could have played it safe but instead went all out & dropped JT with the meanest of right hands. Both the fighters in the other event of the night could learn a thing or two from both these guys.

As for the Froch-Dirrell fight, I was outraged last night, even more so when I rewatched it today & scored it properly. Last night I thought I had Dirrell winning it well, but scoring rbr today, I had it for Dirrell 116-111. I honestly think this was an absolutely shocking robbery, it's far more worthy of it then Diaz-Malignaggi IMO. Giving even all the close rounds to Froch, I could still only have it 114-113 for Dirrell, unlike the Brit commentators, I didn't think it was a hard fight to score.

Dirrell doesn't deserve much credit for how he fought, he clearly showed he could step it up at times, but chose not to for much of it & should of concentrated on boxing rather than complaining. However, he deserves a lot more than Froch. I've seen people saying Froch was trying to make it a fight, to me he was just as negative. He was dirty, there is no excuse for bodyslamming someone & if the ref was going to deduct points from Dirrell, he should have deducted at least 1 from Froch, probably 2 IMO. The way Froch behaved afterwards only took away that last bit of respect I had for him.

I honestly think if we'd seen the same happen between Taylor & Abraham in Germany, everyone (including those arguing for Froch) would be going on about 'fighters always get robbed in Germany'. Dirrell has every right to complain & showed real class given the situation. In every single category that you should judge a fight, Froch lost. Plodding forward & hitting air does not count as 'effective aggression'. The fight this most reminded me of recently was Berto-Urango & you can imagine the uproar if Urango had got the win there. Dirrell needs to up it a level, but at the end of the day, he fought his fight, won & got fucked over. I hope Kessler tears Froch apart, although I don't see any redemption for Dirrell against Abraham.

My only complaint about Abraham was that he never capitalized on the momentum he had built up after the first Miranda fight. What a warrior, to finish with a broken jaw....wow...big heart.

Oh I also don't like that he fancies himself as a Smurf...that's a little odd
