Sergio Martinez was scheduled to fight on the untelevised portion of the Diaz/Malignaggi card the following week, and had no opponent yet, so I say let Williams and Martinez fight.

Paul try and try is a huge word here....and find someone else to fight you, he would have beat pavlik any damn way. And if he didn't it would be pavlik's hand as the excuse why.

Feel bad for williams and yeah as dianne mentioned martinez and williams should go ahead and get it on at a catchweight of 157 or something if neither williams or martinez want to to go down or up. I'd actually love to see that fight, and both of them need to fight. I can't fault pavlik to much tho if it's a legit injury but what the fuck...

You know what.Williams via TKO....now lets move on.Not sure about Martinez's chances with Williams.Far better boxer but get the feeling he'll need much more to keep Williams off of him at this point.Especially at 154,and officially or unofficially,Williams wont come in at jr middle.
