Before the tourney started I was picking Ward. We'll have to see how he copes with Kessler, sure won't be easy an easy fight for Andre, but I was also really impressed with Artur Abraham.
I really underated him, his performance against Jermain was so commanding. He beat him without even breaking a sweat. He's got power, composure, a solid defence, and accurate, well timed punches.
He's going to be very hard to beat in this competition. Interested to see how he handles Dirrell, I expect him to dominate him completely and make him look like a boy.
One thing is for sure, Dirrell will have to come much better against AA than he did against Froch. So it may have been a blessing in disguise that he went through this with Froch. I am going to go with Ward for the sake of picking a winner of the tourney but I think Kessler and AA are the only other ones who can take this.

I'm not entirely sure how they're going to decide the semi's; will it be #1 ranked in the first round table versus #4, or a new draw?
But I wouldn't be suprised if they "fix" it so that there is at least a chance of an American fighter in the final: This doesn't bother me that much as it is a "soft fix" and they are the ones paying for it.
So, I expect Abrahams to face Kessler in one of the semis and Ward to face either Dirrell or Froch (I still think Froch will only pick up two points, but I can only see Dirrell getting two also; does this mean Froch qualifies because he beat Dirrell?)
Now, Ward v Froch should be a good fight with Ward being a strong favourite, mainly due to the fact that Froch will probably be coming in off two defeats: So Andre advances.
Kessler v Abrahams will probably go one of two ways; Kessler be decision or Abrahams by KO. I pick Kessler but Abrahams has a huge chance; and a decision in his favour is not out of the question either.
Ward will be fresher going into the final as he will have had the easiest passage but he still loses comfortably.
I'm sticking with Kessler.

They have said the top ranked fighter will fight the fourth place and the 2nd and 3rd each other.
Extra points scored for knockout will count I imagine.
What I'm interested in is if the 1st fighter gets home advantage against the 4th and the 2nd against the 3rd. Seems fair, but of course that word is not known in boxing.

I say that because he is as slow as molasses, he lacks an effective jab,his hooks are wide and looping, and when he throws them he is open for counters all day long. He just looks plain unnatural in the ring. If he fights outside of Germany agaisnt anyone in this comp besides froch he'll lose.

Okay...
-AA isn't slower than the average super middle,I'm not saying he is fast, but he definitely not as slow as you make him...
-he was very effective with his jab against Taylor...throwing less than Taylor, but connecting more(at least thats what showtime said)and pushing Taylor every time back...not effective...
-the way he throws his punches is awkward, but till this day nobody figured it out how to counter this...
-you make it sound that he would have lost to Taylor if he had fought him in the US instead of Germany and of course if he wouldn't have knocked him out...again...

His jab is crap. One thing Taylor never has figured out how to do is keep his left hand up. Taylor has been done since hopkins, because he left the guy that got him there and hasnt been the same since. He cant push himself and Ozell wont push him. Taylor doesnt have it mentally or endurance wise anymore. I never once said that Taylor would have beat AA in the U.S. Now had this been a younger version of Taylor (Pre Hopkins) He would have beat the holy crap out of AA. Also AA didnt connect on half of what showtime said he did and were clearly biased the whole fight. I pretty much knew though no matter how Taylor performed in the first half he would fade down the stretch and it didnt surprise me. Pretty much anybody that can go 12 rounds will beat Taylor present time. Plain and simple. AA still isnt very good.
Sorry, I forgot to give you one of these![]()

Pavlick blows, and i think his career could very well be over. I think he has more than staff or hand issues or whatever the crap he has. I think he had trouble handling the spotlight and bein on top, and he went down in a hurry. Not everybody can handle bein on top. What im sayin is i think theres more than what meets the eye to his whole situation.
