But he could too easily be lulled into a brawl. You can argue that is part of what made him great and exciting. But i just felt he could have prolonged his career if he fought with controlled aggression. Having said all that...he was an ultimate warrior and one of Mexico's all time great champs.
i fully agree, i've always felt that he was technically superior to Barrera as he displayed in the rematch (i felt Morales won the 2nd fight, and the 1st was about even) but he had the whole "you hurt me i'm gonna hurt you" mentality, it made his fights with Barrera, Chavez, Hernandez, Pacquiao, Kelly, and others classics but it also made him pretty much shot by the age of 30
