I'm very interested to see what Teddy Atlas brings to the table for Povetkin. Atlas's training isn't for everyone and it's been quite some time since he's trained anyone of note

wasn't Povetkin already the mandatory? pretty pointless putting Peter in there, he hasn't done jack shit to even merit a chance to be goin for a title shot
Alex hasn't fought since April and Wladimir Klitschko is out until early 2010 and when Wlad comes back he's fighting Eddie Chambers so it's best for Povetkin to stay busy, especially since he has a new trainer.
Povetkin is 30 now and only has 17 fights he had best avoid ring rust and long layoffs.
Should he end up fighting Wladimir it will be interesting seeing how Teddy Atlas doesn't respect Wlad at all.

really is there anyone else for wlad to fight anyway?
heavys in a real mess, 2 decent champs in wlad & vitali but no competition
come on haye get the job done
I think The Klitschko's are in the same boat as Lennox Lewis right before the Vitali fight, there was nobody was good enough, dangerous enough, or experienced enough to challenge him...til Vitali fought him of course and then we saw the changing of the guard

Neither one has the tools or skills to beat Wlad.....Wlad cracked Sam Peter's chin with that left hook in the 12th round of their fight......
Wlad would beat both by KO....

Neither one will test either klitschko, Peter hasn't been the same fighter since the last time he faced Wladimir, he put on way too much weight and hasn't been able to move at all lately, while Povetchkin just isn't big or dynamic enough to compete with Wlad.
