I hope George Groves is on the televised part of the card. He looks like he could have a good career.

Oh hell yeah Ruiz in action again!! I can't wait for him to get another title shot.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I'll make my final mind once we know who are the "TBA" as to me, for now, it can dangle from correct to mediocre still. And for God's sake, we don't want Ruiz-Valuev, we don't want Ruiz-Valuev!!!!

						one dangerous horrible bloke
Does anyone know the approximate start time for the Haye vs. Valuev fight ??
I see Sky Box Office coverage begins at 9pm but they will probably kick off with the poor undercard named today.
Got a few mates round for the fight and just basically need to know roughly what time the fight is on and whether the fight will start at some ridiculous hour to suit the US ??

That's the WORST undercard i've ever seen for a Brit PPV. Shocking.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.

I dont understand why the fuck this is on PPV??
Haye hasnt actully got any fans??
Dont you think it's a good idea to let these fights be free to air so more people tune in and build him up.
Khan got 30k ppv's cant imagine how shit this ppv will do.

To be honest mate, it's only a bad matchup for people who know how bad Valuev is.
The general public sees a British HW going to fight a giant. I've heard a lot of casual fans talking about it & being quite excited. Plus if it's not on at a ridiculous time, it will benefit. As bad as Khan-Kotelnik did, Khan-Barrera did very well, because Barrera had the profile to help raise the event for your average fan.

This should be free, I am not paying for it but will watch the repeat and hope for a live stream on the day.

I agree. Haye is currently in a similar position to that of Calzaghe around the time of the Lacy fight. Most of the public didn't really know who he was, just knew he was a boxer & had seen a little bit of him. However, the opponent is then sold as being unbeatable as Lacy was & Valuev is due to his size (I know he's been beaten, but most will see 50+ fights with only 1 defeat & think he's amazing).
I think this does quite well, it's probably the best Sky have marketed a fight since Hatton-Mayweather. More importantly I reckon if Haye wins he becomes an overnight star similar to how Calzaghe did after the Lacy fight.
