Ok, I'm a huge fan of University of Alabama football (I would assume Canadians don't understand why college football is so big here but if you're from Alabama you're a bigger fan of college football than the NFL for the most part, its the only show in town. )
Anyway, Tennessee is one of our two biggest rivals. We beat them Saturday 12-10. Through a number of near miracles Tennessee managed to have a try at a field goal to win from 40 plus yards with like two seconds left and it would have been a nightmare, were undefeated with a chance at the national championship, ranked number 1 in the country, they're 3-4, our rivals, etc. So the guy with his helmet off is Terrence Cody our nose tackle, 6'5 355, kind of a cult hero cause he's so huge and a good player. He blocked the field goal, his second blocked field goal of the day and threw off his helmet and ran all the way down the field. The cheerleader looking guy photoshopped in is Lane Kiffin, gigantic gigantic douchebag, coach of Tennessee, former Raiders coach. The machete was also photoshopped in, although I doubt I have to make that clear.

No, we don't. However, you guys probably don't understand why we'll beat the shit out of each other over hockey allegiances. I don't really understand that either, but I do know I feel a sudden rush of derision every time I see an Oilers or Flames fan.
Your sig still annoys me, despite the satisfactory explaination.
I kind of like hockey in a way but never watch itMaybe it is a bad game for TV, I don't know. I used to go to UAH (University of Alabama-Huntsville) games when I was a kid and lived there. It was like the only sport they were good in, like Division two or something but they'd get Canadian kids to come down on scholarship. Obviously not the really good ones but they were a pretty good team.
I don't understand the offside rule in hockey. I played this NHL 2008 game for a while when I rented and kept getting offside calls, I get the jist of offside in most sports but it seemed different in hockey![]()

Finally I can be of some use to this site. When the attacking team has a player cross the blue-line before the puck, he must vacate the zone (by crossing the blue-line and going into the neutral zone [the area between the two blue lines]) before the puck can be brought into the offensive zone by the attacking team. If he does not the play is blown dead because he is offside. Does that make sense?

This explains it as well if mine didn't make sense. Ignore the part about the offsides pass because that rule was taken out a few years ago.

It was about 10:30 am Sun. morning when we took the 1st round of Patron shots.
We we're celebrating a friends B-Day most of us there are 9er fans.
We brought the place down during the 9ers-Texans game...
9ers lost but you would have thought they won by the way we we're cheering and yelling.
During the Vikings-Steel game I actually high fived a Steeler fan when they scored and then immidiately high fived a Vikings fan when they scored.
As you can tell we we're just acting like fools by this time, we had about 6 pitchers of Heffen and about 4 shots each. We would booo! the Steelers during 1 play then cheer for them the next...
Other things.
- 4 orders of Buffalo wings
- 3 party platters
- 2 chilli cheese fries
I was trying to convince our waitress to do a body shot with me.
She said she would but that theirs cameras and she could get fired.
A group of about 5 girls walked in ALL Cowboys fans wearing Cowboys gear. They sat next to us and when the cowboys scored my friends and I all yelled and.
One of the girls turns around and asks you guys Cowboys fans?
I answered with:
Not all the time.
We became instant fans the second you guys walked in.
Good times, good times.

Thomas and Bell are monsters.Falcons on their way to the woodshed tonight![]()
Ok that seems simple enough, I guess I'm used to more like soccer offside rules where its just if the guy is past the last defender before the pass is made so I'd wonder why I'd get a call if there was nobody past the last defender.
the sig will be around for at least a few more days, it makes me happyGod knows why I still have this Lamont Peterson av.
